What size tranny and oil cooler should I get?
I have a 72 Chevelle, with a 454. I have a built 700r4 bolted to it, with a 3000 stall. Its going to be 75% street 25% strip. I am getting an aluminum radiator, and it has a tranny cooler built in, but would that be enough for the tranny? If not, what size cooler would be sufficient? Lastly, what size oil cooler would be sufficient? Thanks!
I see you have a mild grocery getter!?? Generally the size of the Tranny cooler goes by weight, However, under the extreme conditions that you plan on driving your car with the 3000 Stall, to the store and back, I would get the JEGS #823200....If you want a Pro Comp unit contact CX racing.com. If your low on cash from payin' high gas prices, then go with a FRAM TC6101
